Anna Mudd Painting is a female owned Californian painting company. As the business continues to grow and offer more services, they wanted a brand that best reflected them!
Anna is aiming to take on the frustrations of hiring a contractor by reliably providing quality finishes and services, whilst ensuring transparency through ongoing communication.
Being women-owned, prioritising environmentally friendly painting practices, experience with murals and willingness to tackle smaller spaces makes her an invaluable hire.
It was important that Anna's branding stood out as much as her business practices, whilst maintaining her playful and professional demeanour.
The branding for painting companies is rife with houses, brushes, and obvious motifs related to painting.
Whilst I didn't want a 1:1 portrayal of painting within the branding, the shapes of paint brushes influenced the logo. The customised typeface has an organic quality, reflecting the playfulness and environmentally conscious values of Anna Mudd Painting.
Using brush strokes as a pattern, and a unique colour palette allows Anna to punch up the painting references whilst still standing out compared to her competitors.
