For Doug, accounting has been an almost lifelong obsession. He was twelve when he started helping at his father's accounting firm.
The team at Easy Tax & Accounting are great at numbers. Doug has been taking care of my own accounting needs for years. A solid client schedule meant their branding and website hadn't been looked at or updated over many years.
Their original logo wasn't included on their website, only in their email signature!
As they became more serious about defining their target clientele, they needed a brand and website to match.
Starting with a strategy session (a core aspect of all my projects) we determined what Easy Tax & Accounting's target clientele was, how they could stand out from their competitors, and which improvements could be made for both the company and their clients when booking consultations.
Doug's personality, humour and knowledge shines through in consultations. Capturing the warmth and approachability he and Tunny convey in the branding and website made sense.
Using a unique colour palette compared to other accounting firms (no red in sight!), and a clean typography combination make Easy Tax look both welcoming and professional.
Pitch Black Studio did a wonderful job creating the copy for the new site, ensuring that welcoming energy was reinforced through words.
Doug was thrilled with the new branding and website, and now feels more confident in directing prospective clients to their website now it best reflects what they do and who they serve.
